is a parametrically designed breathing wall which captures and absorbs moisture from the air. The wall changes its morphology based upon the fluctuating air temperature and humidity of the site, in order to sequester carbon dioxide and clean the air. This moisture is the fuel for local ecologies of plant life to blossom and thrive, and through their life, capture and sequester carbon from the air, reducing the impact of global warming. CO2 from the densely congested Downtown Los Angeles streetscape is absorbed through photosynthesis and cycles oxygen into the air. The natural cycles of season and night and day cause the wall to expand and contract, becoming more dense in dry conditions, and storing the water, and blooming in the wet conditions, capturing water, and irrigating its plant life.
